What are you thankful for?

Hello guys,
Tonight I just wanted to bring out the question of what are you thankful for ? This month is Thanks giving and I have been thinking what am I thankful for ? I would say that I am thankful for my God which is Jesus Christ because I would not have anything that I could be thankful for with out him.I am also thankful that God loved us enough to die for us on the cross so that we could have everlasting life with him in heaven . I am also thankful for my wonderful and loving husband because he is my rock and I love him so much and he has always been there for me when I never know what to do and this coming year will be our two year wedding anniversary and I am so thankful that God has given someone like him to be thankful for and that I get to share this life with him by my side. I love you very much babe. I am also thankful for my mother. My mother is the last living parent that I have on this earth and she is always there for me when I need her and I love her so much and she is my very best friend. I am also thankful for my wonderful friends that I have made on this earth and the love and happiness that they bring me every day. I am also thankful for my fur baby which is my dog Angel, she is such a sweet and beautiful lab mix and I love her dearly. I am also thankful for my church family because they are always there to encourage me to go the right path that God wants for me. I am also thankful for a home and food and a car to drive where I need to go. I am also thankful for just being here and still being able to have a breath in me that God has blessed me with another day of life. I just want to  say that even though this is the Thanksgiving holiday month and people are going to say the things that they are thankful for but I think that we should be saying the things that we are thankful for every day because our life on this earth is short and we never know when there is going to be a time that we have to say goodbye to it and be in heaven with God. So today let's all remember and share the things that we are thankful for and that God has blessed us with another wonderful day of life. So again answer the question my friends of what are you thankful for today? I love you guys and God loves you too and remember that it is never too late to have a relationship with Jesus today and that he is also thankful for you and everything that you do. Changes in Education!

Hello guys,
I know I have not blogged in a very long while and so today I just wanted to share something with you guys today. Well right now I am pursuing my degree in Elementary education and this week  in my class we are learning about the changes that are happening in education today and the professor asked us and this is quoted from her"thinking about the trends in education about which we learned, how will changes in education affect your view of what kind of teacher you want to be in the future"? I answered this question in a way that I really wanted to share with all of your blog viewers today because this is something that is really close to my heart and that I am very passionate about it  when it comes to education. My answer to that question was as follows:   The changes that are happening in the world will some what give me a view of what kind of teacher that I want to be in the future but not very much because from a very young age, I really knew and believed that teaching would be the profession that I would see myself doing. I love helping others learn new things and just be there to be a kind and good person to them when they feel alone. I feel as though this is the job that God has put on my heart because God has really given me a love for children that I can just not describe and when I see a child be happy and passionate about learning new things, it just makes me happy to be alive and that I am pursuing my career in teaching and being able to help others better their selves in this world today. I know that things these days in America are hard and that people might struggle to get a education and to better their selves and that is why teachers are needed so much in the world today because so many people need learning to be a stand point in their lives and if I can be someone that can help them achieve all that God wants for them through learning then I am on board and I will help them the best way that I can so that their future will look bright. I felt this way when I was answering this question because I just love helping others and helping them to be the best that they can be. The world is really in need of teachers and my state that I live in needs them as well. I know that teachers are always needed and I want to be one of those teachers that students just can come up to and be a teacher that helps other and is a role model that others can look up to. God has really put the love of teaching in my heart like I said and I cannot wait till I can walk in that class room and be able to see smiles on students faces that will make me smile as well. God wants us all be help others and to be a example of Christ to others and that is what I hope and pray to be. I know that I am rambling but this is just something that I am very passionate about and I hope others that have this same dream as me can be as well and I want to be a example to young men and women that you can always chase after your dreams no matter how old you are. I am 21 years old and I am just getting started but if you are in your 50's or younger and you think that it is too late to go back to school and to get a degree then you are sadly mistaken because you can always go back to school. I want to hear others stories about how they are chasing their dreams and doing the things that God wants for them. So comment and let me know and if you need some help finding a school or something or just need some encouragement then do not hesitate to reach out to me because I believe that anyone can have their dreams come true if they really believe that it can be true. The Fall of Humanity : Then and Now :)

Hey guys,
Sorry I have not written in so long. I have been so busy with my school, work , job and church that I have not had any time to write to you wonderful viewers out there in internet land . Today I wanted to talk about the things that I have learned so far in my current course in college which is Christian World view and in this class I have learned so many things about what what really happened with the fall of humanity and why the world is like it is today. Well first in the book of Genesis God is first creating the world and is making it his own. The creation of the world took seven days and first God created the sky and the waters and all of the creatures that would be in the world and he told them to be fruitful and multiply and they did. Then God decided that he needed someone to be a keeper and taker of the garden which was call Eden. So God made a living human being and he breathed the life into this man which he named Adam. Now Adam took care of the grounds and the creatures in Eden but then God decided that man should not be alone so he created a partner for Adam. God put the man to sleep and open up his side and took the man's rib and made a women from his rib and called her "women" because she was taken from "man". Now Adam named this women Eve because she would be a mother to all creation. So then God told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any tree in the garden except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So one day Eve was walking in the garden and  a serpent came to her and told her that she could eat the fruit from the forbidden tree and that if she ate of it she would be like God and her eyes would be open and she would know the knowledge of good and evil. So Eve ate of the fruit and gave some to her husband Adam and their eyes were open and they noticed that they were naked and hid. God then was walking in the garden and called out to Adam and Eve and asked them where they were and God asked them why they hid and they told him because they were naked and did not want God to see them. God asked them how they knew they were naked and Adam told them. God then asked Adam of he ate of the fruit and he told him the women gave it to him. God then told them that since they disobeyed him they would be cursed and instead of living for all eternity, they would die after a certain time. The women was cursed with the pain of child birth and that she would have to listen to her husband and do what he says and the man would be cursed with having to work in the fields to have food and such things  by the sweat of his brow. That was how sin came into the world and how humanity fell. The devil showed up and decieved the people because he wanted them to not be of God. So if Adam and Eve never sinned then this world would of been a more not sinful place but when sin came into the world  the people then knew the ways of good and evil sin was in the world. Now sin is running a muck in the world that we live in today and it is as worse as ever and more people need to rise up and know who God is because this world is ending soon and you do not want to be left and not go with God when he takes his followers do you? So today make the wonderful decision to know God and let him into your heart today before it is too late. Today could be your day to know God and let him be your father and saviour. How to worship God!

Today I wanted to talk about Worship and what it really means to God in our lives. John 4:24 reads, "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”  We should worship God with everything that we are and never stop loving him. We can not just worship with singing but by lifting up the name of the lord our God and letting him know that we love him. Psalms 84:10 reads , "For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness."  This verse means that we should only worship God and God alone and that being in his courts and feeling his presence is the most rewarding thing  and that we should never be in the things of this world because they are wicked and we should be with God. When you really worship God with your full heart it is like there is nothing else that you will want more then to worship the lord your God. I know that when I am in the true presence of the Lord it is like I feel the lord with me and I can do anything and do not care who is watching. There are sometimes at church that I am worshiping God and I do not care who is watching, I just let myself go and give God the glory because he deserves all my worship and I never want to worship or have no other God but him. The bible says seek first the Kingdom of God and I want to always seek his face and Worship him because without him we are nothing. So guys worship God with everything that you are and do not care who is watching because it should only matter what God thinks when you are in his presence no one else. I look at it this way, your friends and people are not going to get you to heaven, only God can, so worship and seek him with your full heart and never feel alone because he is with you!

Do you find your self distracted on the things of the world and not God? (A must read)

Well I really wanted to share something like this with you guys because there is so many times when people are like well I am too busy to pray or read the word or even search for God. Well I am here to say do not worry. If you feel as though you are back sliding from God or if you feel as though your not praying enough or reading his word enough do not fret.We can lose sight of who God is if we are too focus on the things of the world and not of God. This world  is so evil these days and the devil tries to make us lose sight of who God is. The devil will try to put ideas in our heads that will distract us and make us do his evil. When those things happen you just need to pray and say" God I am sorry that I have been so distracted lately by the ways of the world but I am coming back to you, help me to find what needs to be changed in my life so that I will never lose tract of you." Daily devotions in the morning are also good things to do when you wake up because it is like when you read it your day is reflected on God and you can use what you read to make your day better. I know you might have lots of things going on with like school, kids, a job, or even your spouse but when we do not put God first God gets sad and is like what about me? God just wants time with you and to know you are there. God loves to just hear you talk to him and tell him what is going on. We are friends of God and he just wants to be our friend. If you find yourself saying "well I do not know how to actually talk to God or when I read his word what do I read?'' Well the answer is just this talk to God like he's your best friend and that he is looking right at you and do not be afraid for he is there and the other is before you read ask God to help you and tell him that you do not know what he wants you to read and he will show you the way. Most of the time when I read his word I tell God that as well and he shows me verses that actually help me and are exactly what I was going through that day. Another thing if you find your self being tempted by the devil because that does happen because the devil hates us and God and he does not want us to keep our eyes on God. Just talk to the devil directly and say " I rebuke you". Jesus made a very good example in the bible when the devil was trying to tempt him in Luke 4:8 and it reads "Get thee behind me Satan." So do just that and he has to flee. God loves you and he wants a relationship with you if you just let him. Most people put God in a  figurative box and and only take him out when they need him or are in trouble. We should not do that though because if we just talked to him when we needed him then that is not really having a relationship. The bible says Seek first the kingdom of God! So do just that because this world is getting bad and we do not have much more time to be messing around. We need to get right with God today. God said in his word that he is coming back and you do not want to be left behind so begin a relationship with God today and it will be the best decision that you ever made!

Fasting and praying!:)

Today I want to talk about the idea of fasting and praying and reading his word.. Well first off fasting is something that is really special because you are giving up something like food, Facebook or anything and offering it up to God and praying. You can fast for anything. Let's say you feel as though you spirit is down or you need something really bad and you need God's help. What I have learned is that you should usually fast in 3 hour increments. You should always try to start your fasts in the morning because you are declaring to God that this is what you want and how you want your day to consist of. There is also people fast for a longer period of time like 24 hours but if you are just starting out then you can do the 3 hour period and reflect on God out through the day. Fasting is a personal event: "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you"(Matthew 6:16-18). Fasting is also a form of worship. "Then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying" (Luke 2:37) . I am going to my fast tomorrow because I really need to clear my spirit and because I have something that I am struggling with and I need to clear my spirit , so if you need to clear your spirit you should try fasting. My testimony:)

Well this my first blog and in these blogs I want them to help others and show the love of christ through them. Well first I want to talk about how I came to christ and later I will talk about how you too can come to know christ as well. Well it started when I was a teenager in my sophmore year of high school. I used to be believe it or not , not a very nice person and I would cuss alot and make rumors about others and want to fight people and now it is like I do not even know who that person was or who she used to be. Well first in my life I kind of knew about God but did not really go through with the thing of going to church and praising him like I do now. Until, my sophmore year of high school and I had this friend and she invited me to this camp called Falls Creek and oh my goodness it was just amazing and the preached there the first night talked about God and how he could fix your problems and how he loved us so much to die for us and that his love is everlasting and that he did all that for all of us , including me. I was like no this can not be because everyday I felt so alone and did not think anyone cared and all the things that I went through with anixety and pain. When he said that God could take all that away and how he loved me enough to die for me, I was like this sounds true and the feeling I had that day was like nothing I ever had before and at the end he said how we could get this wonderful love by repenting our sins and telling God I was sorry for everything and that I wanted him to come into my heart. So I did it and believed in him with everything I was and after camp my mom picked me up and was like how was camp and I was like it was amazing and told her about what God did for me and what he could do for her also and I helped my mom come to christ also. Then I finally found my church which was a pentecostal church a few years after that and I learned about being baptized and receiving the gift of the holy ghost and  what God gives through the holy ghost which  is the gift of speaking in tongues. I had never been baptized before or heard about speaking in tongues and I went to a revival at church and they spoke about it and how God loved us enough to die for us and there was a alter call and I had this feeling, like a warm feeling in my stomach and it was amazing and it was like God was telling its your time , the time to recieve the holy ghost and become new. So I went up there and the pastor told me to raise my hands and tell God I am sorry because at that time I had backslide from God and I knew I needed him back in my life so that day I surrendered all of me to the lord that day at the alter and the pastor said let the spirit move on you and let God just take control and he was like I feel the spirit all over you girl and at that moment it was like God was like BAM and I started speaking in tongues and a sense of peace shot all over me and it was like my heart was left there at the alter and it  was like God was telling me  "I know where you have been and how scared you have been for so long and what you have gone through and you do not need to go through that anymore, I am here and I will carry you every step of the way". That night I went home and told my husband what had happened and he was like something is different about you and even a glow is around you and I came to tell him what happened and about God's love and spirit is for him too and the gift of the holy ghost is too. So the next day at the revival he went and oh my goodness he went up the front and it was amazing he received the gift of the holy ghost and repented his sins. Then the pastor told us about being baptized, because we already were baptized by the spirit which was God's and could speak in tongues and the next step was water baptisim and we both got baptized that night and we have both changed our lives and are renewed by the grace of God. So if it can happen for me a girl who was always scared of everything and had anger all the time and could not let go of the past. A girl who sometimes did not want think this life was worth living that was told by people that I would never amount to anything, a mistake. Well I am here to tell you if  your looking or reading this , I someone here to say that my life is changed and I have a God, a father, a friend, a comforter that loves me and takes me as I am.  I have the holy ghost and I am glad about it, I have eternal life and I'm glad about it, I have jesus christ in my heart and I AM GLAD ABOUT IT! If your a person who is here to say oh God can not accept me I am a drug addict, a selfish person, a murder, a person who is addicted to pornography, anything . Well I am here to tell you your name is none of those things. You are a child of the one true king, like the song says and you can have a close relationship with Jesus today, not tomorrow , not a few weeks down the road, no Today! You just need to come out and admit your a sinner and need a saviour and you can get it. In John 3:16 it says for God  so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son and whos so ever believeth in him shall  have everlasting life. See it said who so ever believeth in him, so you can do it!  Anyone can have a new relationship with him today and can be baptized in jesus name and receive the wonderful gift of the holy ghost. Just talk to him and find the right church and start receiving the blessing that God has for you today. What the bible says about being drunk!

Well my birthday was yesterday and I turned 21 years old and I had several people ask me hey did you get drunk or drink on that day? I was like no!! They then began to ask why and I told them that is just not something that I would find myself doing. The world makes everyone think that since you turn 21 years old it should be okay to drink now and that you are legal well that is true in the eyes of the world but to God you should not be drunk. There are several versus that I would like to share about why God would say that being drunk is not something that as christians that we should see our selves doing. The first one would be Ephensians 5:18, it goes to say "And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit". The next one is 1 Peter 5:8 and it reads, "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." Those versuses speak to me because we should not get drunk but be filled with his spirit and lots of people do not understand that and  go away drinking anyway and do not care about the outcome. God also saids our bodies are God's temple and if my body is God's temple why would I want to put a substance like beer in my body or take drugs . When you are doing that you are just doing damage to God's temple and that is just not right. The lord wants us to be filled with his spirit and the things that the world offers such as alchol are not going to be a good thing to fill you at all. So let's all try today and the rest of our lives to not damage God's temple but to fill it with wonderful things such as his spirit and word and good things so that God is pleased with us full heartly. I just had to talk about that because people keep asking me why and I am not trying to offend anyone by writing this, I am just trying to show people what the word of God saids and what God thinks about people drinking alchol.
